This original print was taken in an urban forest on Vancouver Island, in British Columbia.  Trail walking and beach walking is a favorite past time for people who live in and visit the Pacific Northwest, including the islands between Vancouver Island and the B.C. mainland.

Forestry supports families and we advocate for sustainable community forests that consider the diverse species of plants and wildlife who live there.  Research demonstrating the interconnectedness of all forest species, and the importance of mother trees means we need to preserve and protect them.
